Vol. IV, Episode 04 – Codar Awakens 1

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Unadulterated BS Podcast welcomes back an old friend, former co-host, Cody “Codar” Veerhusen. This is Codar’s first episode back on the show in at least three years and he’s here to relive past glories and tell us about his new projects.

Brian and Melissa give everyone a brief re-introduction to Codar through a short interview. Codar tell us about his new product, The Morning Deuce Podcast. Our guest warns us that the The Morning Deuce Podcast does not record often, but when it does, it’s funny, enjoyable nonsense. He also let’s us know that his show is available currently on SoundCloud, but will eventually be moving to YouTube.

Brian takes a moment to re-set the situation with the New Management at The Dark Ravine Productions. Melissa reacts, per usual, with disdain over the paltry amount that we signed away our rights to our show and website.

We discuss Codar’s music that’s available on YouTube. Codar is a self-professed “synth-geek” and uploads jam videos to the channel titled, “Sprunging for Voltage.” As a result, Brian offers to create a new awards show, The Notagrammy’s, to allow for him to nominate Codar for a fabulous award.

Despite being a few months late to the party, we discuss Codar’s reaction to Rogue One : A Star Wars Story. This brings Brian and Melissa to memories of watching Spider-Man 3 from the front row and drunk. This carries over into a story about Brian’s frustration about the recent box office flop, Jupiter Ascending. Codar is a diehard Star Wars fan, so we also discuss his memories of Star Wars : The Force Awakens, the prequels that preceded it and Star Wars Celebration.

In addition, Codar tells us a harrowing tale of a Florida Man that goes from small time crook to worldwide spy thriller in the blink of an eye.

Finally, we discuss Super Bowl LI between the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots. Unfortunately, it seems my editing was not up to par for this episode. So, I guess we were going to be right either way.
